We’re just a few days away from the unofficial start to summer and with the heat in the Northeast this weekend, it’s definitely time to get summer ready! I shared some of my picks for the upcoming season on Lifestyle Today. From summer fashion statement pieces to bug protection, to must-haves for outdoor fun with the fam- I rounded up some great finds for you.

Of all the seasons, summer fashion gets me most excited! I’ve been a longtime fan of White House Black Market and I’m loving their lineup this season. The silky pleated halter maxi I featured for this segment is GORGEOUS. It’s a stunning piece and I love that it’s easy to dress up for something more formal like a wedding, or to dress down with flat sandals for a beachy feel. If you’ve been following me for a while you also know I love statement jewelry, and I think this necklace is so cool because it’s convertible. You can wear it a few different ways, and each option is beautiful. Braided slides are huge right now and these are such a fun and versatile pair. Mosquitoes are my arch nemesis of the summer months. They especially love me and my sons and the massive bites we get are no fun. Para’Kito is a family favorite for bug protection. We’ve been on the hunt for a good outdoor blanket for a while and I was SO excited when I found this one from Little Unicorn. Not only is it water resistant and easy to clean, it’s also HUGE and folds up to be perfectly packable with a carrying strap. It’s a definite summer must-have.

With three young kids, bubbles are a big part of our summer, and these WOWmazing Bubbles from South Beach Bubbles are guaranteed summer fun. They’re gigantic, easy to make and the kids get such a kick out of them. I love that the solution is non-toxic and made right here in the USA.
