Valentine’s Day Gifting on a Budget

We’re all looking to be smart shoppers right now, and Valentine’s Day gifting on a budget is big this year. I had the chance to partner with Burlington, and shared some incredible deals on Good Morning Washington that are sure to spread love to the whole family.

Finds for the whole family

One of the things I love about Burlington is that it’s a one-stop shop- you can score some great gifts for everyone on your list all in one place. For the ladies in your life, check out the sleepwear section. Burlington has some adorable on-theme Valentine’s pj’s, which always make a great gift because they tend to be something we may be reluctant to buy for ourselves.

I scored huge in the shoe department too- snagging a fab brand name pair of sparkly pink boots for my daughter (a little #momhack- size up when giving clothing and footwear gifts so you always have a bit of a head start on the next shopping season). I also found a pair of sneakers I’d been eyeing for myself that were less than half the regular price!

The beauty section is another must-visit that’s filled with tremendous savings potential. I picked up a sweet Valentine’s themed lip balm set, some adorable pink and red velvet scrunchies and a set of glitter hair clips that my little girl will love.

For my hubby, I chose a classic red and white tie that I know will be in his rotation for years to come, and again- from a popular brand name designer that creates great quality pieces. The men’s section also had so many nice socks, self-care items and clothing options that would be make great gifts.

Finally, the home selection was a filled with accent pieces that are perfect budget-friendly gifts. I picked up a beautiful textured white pillow that’s oversized and cozy for our den couch. The kitchen aisle had so many adorable mugs, including the boho-style LOVE mug I featured in the segment. I also hit the jackpot for my boys with some sweet treats. I couldn’t resist the marshmallow-filled hot chocolate bombs and pink cotton candy! You can’t go wrong with sweets for a Valentine’s gift. I love that the options they have are a bit more outside the box than your standard box of chocolates.

Don’t sleep on the Burlington clearance section

You’re going to be SHOCKED when you hear how much my total was for ALL of the items I just talked about- AND so much more. Everything I featured in the segment came to $100. That’s really thanks to Burlington’s clearance section, which has savings on top of savings. The pink and red striped PJ’s I showed were on clearance and rang up to an incredible $1. I couldn’t believe my eyes! The oversized pillow I mentioned was another clearance find. It’s great quality and a brand name, and rang up to $11. It’s worth it to hunt through the deals in the clearance section, because there are new markdowns every day and you’ll be pleasantly surprised how far you can stretch your dollar.
